This memory foam western shim pad gives a rider the ability to modify and create just the right saddle fit to relieve pressure on your horse’s back to ensure maximum comfort.

  • Improve your saddle fit and alleviate back soreness with this shim pad
  • Shims in the pad to add and subtract for optimal fit
  • Beneficial to any horse that is experiencing loss of topline do to age, who has a lighter top line, or an ill-fitting saddle
  • Pad features an internal full-length pocket on each side of the spine which houses a 1/2" thick panel of 10mm memory foam and 5mm Poron foam to reduce impact and concussion your horse encounters while riding
  • Three separated sections where shims can be added or removed depending on where your horse needs it most
  • Each pocket contains two ¼” shims that allow for customization
  • 150 grams of insulation and 5mm thick felt bottom ensure a comfortable fit for your horse
  • A tough Cordura outer and synthetic wear leathers add additional durability for a long-lasting work pad
  • Shims and inserts are accessed along a Velcro opening at the spine
  • Remove inserts and shims before hosing off
